THE HOPE CHARITY
Our name, “HOPE,” stands for Humanitarian Organisation for Poverty Eradication. As HOPE Charity, we are committed to uplifting poor and vulnerable communities across Sri Lanka through compassion, empowerment, sustainable development, and social justice initiatives.
HOPE Charity is a national non-profit relief and development organization based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Was established in 1995 with the aim of eradicating the poverty and suffering of people affected by poverty, natural disasters, crises and conflicts in Sri Lanka. HOPE Charity is dedicated to creating lasting change for poor and vulnerable people and their families in Sri Lanka.
A national non-profit charitable organization aiming to enhance social and economic development, and support vulnerable groups through sustainable programs and innovative initiatives. The organization was established with a clear vision aimed at achieving a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities.
HOPE Charity has stood strongly with its aims, vision, mission, values, objectives and structure since our founding in 1995. We wholeheartedly commit to the work we do with passion and dedication, sharing it with the world community and inviting others to take part. On top of this, we challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do. This drives the continued success of the HOPE Charity
OUR EXPERTISE
To serve individuals and families in the most underprivileged communities around the Sri Lanka. We seek global experience and resources, along with donor support, to promote innovative solutions to societies in need. We believe in creating long term change and promoting self-sufficiency by:

OUR IMPACT
Over the 30 years, HOPE Charity has touched the lives of countless individuals across the Sri Lanka. The impact we have on the poor is profound and far-reaching. We provide food to hungry people, clean water to people who need it most, orphan care and livelihood assistance to those who are in need. But we know that there is still much work to be done, and with your support, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
